I’m looking forward to visiting ILJ2009 (Earls Court, 6-9 sept)! It’s a great opportunity to catch up with friends exhibiting at the Design Gallery, meet new contemporary jewellers and to check out new styles and trends.

The numerous stone and gem suppliers are also a big draw for me. I must try to persuade myself to leave my cheque book at home (hmph!)
As well as providing good reason to part with your cash, the ILJ also offers access to free seminars, some of which sound really very interesting – I’m just looking at the programme, and I’m keen to attend Joanna Hardy’s talk on jewellery as an artform (Jewellery as an Artform, not a Commodity). I hope I can squeeze in. Look out for my feedback after the event!
