Flux studios offers short specialist classes and courses in jewellery making at all levels for example, jewellery for families workshop, ring making workshop.

Flux Studios is again working with Southwark Adult Learning Services(SALS) to provide a special range of exciting jewellery courses and workshops for the local community.

If you live in the borough you can take advantage of some fantastic discounts, and if you are looking to have some fun with your children check out our Family Workshops, which are absolutely free!

Southwark provide this subsidy for residents to attend 1 course each per academic year, so please choose the one that you like the sound of most! *

Southwark courses - Family Workshops

At Flux Studios we provide a supportive environment where families / children and their carers can actively engage with creative and craft processes in the professional environment of an artist studio. Projects are tailored to suit children and adults having no prior experience, with initial focus on free experimentation with material and technique. Students then put their newfound experiences into producing a final piece of jewellery or mini - sculpture.

These workshops are free for Southwark residents. Each child must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Southwark courses - Weekday courses for adults

Our one and two day courses usually run over a Thursday/ Friday are ideal for adults with time to play during normal working hours.

The 2- day courses are tailored to fit within the school run so they suit parents and carers who are looking to explore new ideas, develop skills - or just to have some 'me' time !

Southwark Residents get a fee discount of between 60% and 80%, depending on circumstances

We have a range of courses for beginners and intermediate students running at the weekends. These courses aim to provide access to our services for local residents who cannot get to our weekday programmes.
