The Flux ON event is about seeing see hot new talent on the rise, and seeing it first. If you have a passion for jewellery and you want to know more about our alchemical processes, and if you know what's good for you, you are virtually in the right place; please come to these events.
The highlight of Coutts London Jewellery Week launched on Monday 8 June will be found here in South London on Thursday night (that's 11 June 2009) when the Flux On programme will be launched with a boom and a bang at The Vangard Court Gallery.
This year it was a three week programme of events in Camberwell, combining Coutts London Jewellery Week with Camberwell Arts Week:

showcasing inspired contemporary jewellery collections by 12 jewellers from Flux Studios

generating publicity, interest, support, sales and commissions for Flux Studios and its jewellers

engaging with the public through ope studio exhibitions and demonstrations in jewellery making
- involving the public in craft skills and creative exploration through a series of hands - on family workshops in jewellery making.
As part of Coutts London Jewelelry Week, Coutts London Jewellery Week, flux-On is an alternative event that will showcase the innovative new collections by the hottest up and coming London based jewelers.

Twelve jewellers from Flux Studios showcased their inspiring collections of contemporary jewellery at this exciting, live exhibition event.

Unconventional models, reflecting the diversity of South London, wore the collections and distributed info-cards about the jewellery, while between choreographed and doing short poses on podiums.

The Flux Jewellers were also be on hand to talk about their work. Info cards and other publicity materials was readily available, inviting the audience to enquire about, view or purchase the jewellery at other events throughout the Flux On programme.

Orders, commissions and other expressions of interest weretaken at the information desk on the night.
